MANSEHRA:
The road link to Saiful Malook was closed for traffic on Tuesday due to excessive snowfall. The 12-km strip of road, locally known as Jheel Road, will remain closed for traffic till the end of April.
Station House Officer Kaghan Sadaqat Nisar Khan told The Express Tribune the area had received snowfall about 15 days ago, but jeep owners continued to take tourists to the lakeside using chains on their tyres.
However, heavy snowfall since Monday evening has blocked the road completely. The officer said tourists activities have came to a standstill for the next four months as the snow would start melting in April.
