Dangerous roads: IED blast injures two security officials
Injured were taken to a hospital in critical condition while security forces launched a search operation in the area.

Two security officials were injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated at a roadside near Qutab Khel check post in Miranshah, North Waziristan Agency on Sunday. A security forces official said the incident occurred around 10am. He added Qutab Khel check post is located approximately eight kilometres east of Miranshah, the agency headquarters. The injured were taken to a hospital in critical condition while security forces launched a search operation in the area. Since Sunday morning, a routine curfew has been imposed by the political administration in most parts of the agency, and tribesmen were told to avoid travelling on main routes due to the movement of security forces.
