In stores: Pashtu poetry by visually challenged

Kutub Khan from K-P, though visually impaired, has proved his mettle with poetry and music.

ISLAMABAD: A Pashtu poetry collection by a visually-challenged folk singer proves the latest hit among the literary circles with amazing combination of sonnets, lyrics and humorous couplets. The collection entitled “Da Zara Stargay,” (Heart’s eyes) is compiled by Kutub Khan Tatoor belonging to district Tank of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province. The book is now available at leading bookstores. Khan though visually impaired has proved his mettle with poetry and music. His songs are commonly sung on the occasions of marriages and public gatherings in KP.
