Spreading education: AMU alumni honoured
Dr Rizvi welcomed Dr Shaheer and appreciated his services for AMUOBA at the international level.

The Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association (AMUOBA) held a reception on Thursday in honour of Dr Shaheer Khan - a noted member of Aligarh Muslim University Alumni, Northern California. Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology’s vice-chancellor, Dr Jawaid H Rizvi, also spoke at the reception. Dr Rizvi welcomed Dr Shaheer and appreciated his services for AMUOBA at the international level. According to Dr Shaheer, the association, which was established in the USA in the 1970s, currently has branches in 16 states.
