MQM claims affiliation with 3 men found dead in Karachi, condemns extrajudicial murder

KARACHI:
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Tuesday condemned the extrajudicial murder of three men, whose bodies were found in Karachi on Monday. 

The victims were identified as Noman, Javed alias 'Bunda' and Saleem aka 'Kabari', on Tuesday.

In a statement, MQM claimed the individuals were affiliated with the party and had been arrested by law enforcement authorities a few days ago. Noman's wife had also filed a petition in the Sindh High Court against his arrest.

MQM called upon Chief Justice of Pakistan Tassaduq Jillani and the Prime Minister and President to take notice of the extrajudicial killings.


According to police, the victims had been subjected to torture before being shot.

Their bullet riddled bodies were found with their hands tied and blindfolds over their eyes.

Noman and Saleem lived in Qasba Colony while Javed lived in Orangi.

SHO Imtiaz Niazi claimed that the deceased were nominated in various cases with Javed being accused in 150 killings.
