Rail boost: Five freight trains launched
Pakistan Railways earned Rs 1,588 million against the set target of Rs 910 million during the current fiscal year.

Pakistan Railways on Tuesday launched five freight trains with an aim to improve the economic condition of the railway department. According to a statement, the freight service has been launched from Karachi which is a success for railways in the current situation. The freight sector is considered an important segment for railways has contributed a lot towards railways’ income. Pakistan Railways earned Rs 1,588 million against the set target of Rs 910 million during the current fiscal year, registering 75% increase in revenue.
