Cellular services restored in most parts of Pakistan

Cellular services were restored in most parts of Pakistan, including Quetta, Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Karachi on Tuesday evening as Chehlum processions drew to a close all over Pakistan, Express News reported.

Services had been suspended to ensure security of citizens as the Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA) was observed in different cities.


Mobile services had been shut for upto 15 hours , starting from 7 am to 10 pm in some parts of the country.

A large number of security personnel were installed at important locations, but authorities failed to prevent the occurrence of three bomb explosions which killed a total of seven people and injured at least 25.
