NADRA praised: Anti-sexual harassment efforts
NADRA has set up sixteen registration centers and more than four mobile registration vans for women.
ISLAMABAD:
The National Accountability Database Registration Authority (NADRA) was awarded by the World Movement for Democracy and Mehergarh in recognition of extraordinary efforts to promote the compliance of anti-sexual harassment legislation in the organization, an official statement said. Chairman NADRA Tariq Malik appreciated the efforts of all members of NADRA’s Anti-Harassment Committee on this achievement. Chairperson of the Committee Fizzah Shahid said that this achievement was not possible without the support and commitment of the management and Mehergarh’s assistance NADRA has set up sixteen registration centers and more than four mobile registration vans for women only across the country. The centers are staffed by women. Registration of female voters has increased by more than 80 percent in the three years, according to a statement issued by the organisation.
