As part of the government’s crackdown on electricity pilferage, a Multan Electricity and Power Company team raided a house in Chak 54-P. The team was supervised by Executive Engineer (XEN) Insaaf Ali.
The XEN told The Express Tribune that Basheer Ahmad, the owner of the house, had set up a mini grid station in the house.
Two other men, identified as Ejaz Ahmad and Mumtaz Ahmad, were also caught stealing electricity from Mepco direct connections.
