Amid dense fog: 11 injured in road mishap
A van collided with a car due to dense fog on the DI Khan-Bannu Road on Sunday.

At least 11 people, including women and children, were severely injured when a van collided with a car due to dense fog on the DI Khan-Bannu Road on Sunday. Rizwan Khan, an official of Ghoriwala police, said the accident occurred at around 11:45am when a passenger van, en route to Bannu from DI Khan, collided with a car that was traveling in the opposite direction near Sero Badakhel area. Around 11 people were reported injured in the accident. The official said the accident occurred due to zero visibility amid the dense fog in the area, adding that residents of the area rushed to the site and shifted the injured to District Headquarters Hospital for treatment. Two of the injured are said to be in a critical condition and could not be shifted to a hospital in Peshawar owing to the fog.
