Get the look: Travel Ready
Take a cue from Bosworth and see how to do it with in both style and comfort.
Actor Kate Bosworth looked classy as she stepped out of the airport in Los Angeles. With it being winter break, and given the sheer volume of weddings taking place all over the country, many of you will be travelling in the next few weeks. Take a cue from Bosworth and see how to do it with in both style and comfort.
Hair and Make-up:
Bosworth seems to have gone bare faced on her flight, and we recommend you do the same. Just a bit of Lip balm and moisturiser is the way to go when travelling. Try Maybelline’s Baby Lips; they are super moisturising and also give your lips a tint of colour. Slide on a hydrating cream or your trusty moisturiser, and skip the rest of your beauty routine so that you don’t have to worry about smudging your eyeliner if you fall asleep on the flight. Also, make sure you keep some lotion in your purse, airplanes tend to get dry.
Outfit:
Bosworth does what every chic traveller should do - she layers. With a tartan shirt, bang on-trend by the way, over a full sleeved grey tee, she can bundle up if she’s cold or remove a layer if she feels warm. We would also recommend taking a scarf on board if you tend to feel a little chilly. Skinnies are a comfortable pick, as always and they’ll definitely keep you warm while you’re flying at 10,000 feet.
Shoes and accessories:
We cannot emphasize enough on the need for an oversize pair of sunglasses while travelling. You’ll be tired, your eyes may be puffy, and everyone looks glamorous wearing a pair of large sunnies (not at night though, for obvious reasons!). Bosworth opted for boots with a low heel, in order to keep her feet both warm and comfortable. We don’t particularly like Bosworth’s bag. We feel a large cross-body would be better suited for travel. It keeps your hands free and will fit all your stuff. So that’s one worry down. Now, what are you going to pack?
