The Lahore High Court on Thursday ordered the arrest of a man accused in a Rs34.8 million electricity theft case.
Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi directed law enforcement agencies to produce Muhammad Iqbal before the trial court on January 2, 2014. Earlier, a Lahore Electricity Supply Company law officer told the court that the Iqbal had stopped appearing before the trial court after obtaining interim bail.
The lawyer requested the court to cancel his bail and order the police to arrest and produce him before the trial court.
