ISLAMABAD:

The capital police had a round of musical chairs on Tuesday, with five deputy superintendents of police (DSP) being moved around by order of the inspector general of the Islamabad Police.

A police spokesman informed The Express Tribune that the Crime Investigation Agency DSP Bashir Noon has been transferred and will now be posted at the President House, where he will replace incumbent DSP Shafqat Ali, who in turn has been transferred a few metres away to the Prime Minister Office.

On the other hand, the Prime Minister House DSP Fida Satti will be completing the circle by taking charge at the Crime Investigation Agency.

Apart from that, the fifth and final change is the Saddar Zone DSP Khalid Nadeem’ transfer to traffic, where he will switch places with Traffic DSP Chaudhry Arshad Ali, who is now the Saddar Zone DSP.
