Road accident: 3 women, 2 children killed in Gujranwala

Three children are still stuck in the car according to the police.

GUJRANWALA: Seven people were killed in a road accident in Gujranwala early Monday morning, Express News reported.

Three women and two children are among the dead.

A speeding oil tanker collided with a vehicle. Police said that three children are still stuck inside the vehicle.

According to initial details, the collision occurred due to the fog.

Police and rescue teams have reached the area.

Previous accidents

On December 13, four students and two teachers were injured in a road mishap in Lond Khwar, Mardan.

Police official Safdar Iqbal had said the incident occurred when a school van en route to Hathyan had rammed into a speeding jeep coming from the opposite direction.

On December 3, seven people were injured in different road accidents due to dense fog on GT Road.

According to Pabbi and Nowshera hospital officials, 13 vehicles had crashed at different points on GT Road, including Pabbi station, Pabbi city, Azakhel, Khesghi, Cherat Road and Amangarh.

Whenever an accident is reported,the place of accident and if possible names of the victims should also be published as well.incomplete news with no tangible clue to the names of the affected and place of mishap gives great heartache to those who belong to that area,till they get the exact details relating to the news
