ISLAMABAD:

The board has warned of strict action against shops that fail to ensure the presence of a qualified chemist in on the premises during business hours and maintain their movements register. It decided to prosecute Kousar Medicos in Sector F-8 and Zaki Chemist in Sector G-12 after recovering unregistered drugs from their outlets. It also issued a strict warning to Shaheen Chemist to ensure the presence of a qualified chemist at the store. It directed Bilal Medical Store, Hameed Medicose and New Islamabad Chemist in F-8, Sitara Chemist in G-9 and Malik Medicose in Aabpara to maintain the records of drugs and the presence of qualified chemists.
