MANDI BAHAUDDIN:
A man was shot dead by his rival at a district court in Mandi Bahauddin on Saturday.
Civil Lines police said the deceased, Waseem Ahmad Khalil, 31, a resident of Munshi Mohalla, was at the district court for a hearing when his rival, Arif, opened fire at him. Police said Khalil was taken to the district headquarters hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His body has been sent for autopsy, police said. Arif had been arrested, police added.
