Pak vs SL: Sri Lanka level T20 series

The Pakistani team was bowled out for 187 in 19.2 overs.

DUBAI:
Sri Lanka levelled the two-match Twenty20 series in Dubai by clinching the second T20 by 24 runs. Earlier, Kusal Perera hit a brilliant 59-ball 84 to help Sri Lanka post 211-3. Perera, who hit five fours and four sixes, put on a rapid 100 with fellow opener Tillakaratne Dilshan who made a 33-ball 48 as Sri Lanka, sent into bat, posted the highest ever total against Pakistan in all Twenty20 cricket. Dilshan hit eight boundaries before debutant Seekkuge Prasanna lifted the tempo with a blistering eight-ball 21. Despite the run-feast, Saeed Ajmal finished with 2-25. Pakistan did well to come back into the contest after having been reduced to 85 for 7. Shahid Afridi posted 28 runs, while Sohail Tanvir made 41 and Saeed Ajmal, 20 in a record ninth-wicket partnership of 63, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap, as the team was bowled out for 187 in 19.2 overs.
