Service structure: Doctors told to submit ACRs
Spokesperson of Health Department says only complete files to be considered for promotion.

The Health Department has directed doctors serving in Basic Pay Scales 17 and 18 to provide their Annual Confidential Reports to be considered for promotion. A spokesman of Health Department told The Express Tribune only complete files would be considered for promotion. He said doctors’ associations had complained that 50 per cent of general cadre doctors retired in the pay scale (BPS 17) they were hired in. “Doctors serving all over Punjab should submit their ACRs to the Health Department at the earliest so that the seniority list can be updated,” the spokesman said.
