Altaf warns govt against backing out of promises
MQM leader warns that his party will be forced to leave coalition if govt does not stop backing out of promises.

If the government does not shun the practice of backing out of its promises, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will be forced to leave the coalition government, warned MQM leader Altaf Hussain.
Addressing gatherings at the MQM headquarters Nine-Zero and in Orangi Town to celebrate the victory of MQM candidate Saifuddin Khalid in PS-94, the MQM leader said that the anti-peace elements that shed blood of the innocent citizens of Karachi in a calculated design to destroy the peace of the city, and more recently to subvert the by-elections, have been uncovered.
He said that the people wanted to tell these elements that Karachi is a peace-loving city. He said that these elements should live in the city peacefully or leave. He categorically said that since his party was not cheating the government it expected honesty in return.
Expressing sympathy with those killed and injured in the terrorist activities, he said that those who boycotted the by-elections out of their fear of defeat and issued orders to shed blood of the citizens of Karachi and those who killed and injured the innocent people wanted to destroy the peace of the city but the citizens of Karachi showed exemplary discipline despite killings and proved that they did not believe in terrorism.
He congratulated the MQM voters and said that the speakers of Punjabi, Seraiki, Pushto, Hazarwal, Sindhi, Balochi, Kashmiri and other languages expressed their trust in the MQM candidate along with the Urdu speakers. He said that this was proof that the destitute and poor people were gathering under the banner of the MQM very fast. He said that this was a forerunner of the revolution in Pakistan.
The MQM chief said that awareness was spreading in the country and the time for accountability of feudal lords, waderas, sardars, industrialists and capitalists was near.
Addressing in Punjabi, Balochi, Pushto and Sindhi he said that the people across the country have decided to support Altaf Hussain and his party. He said that we will all build this country jointly.
He said that the MQM is a peace loving party and its workers did not retaliate to the recent killings which is a proof that it wanted peace in Karachi and the whole of the country.
He said that the MQM workers have proved that they believed in the ballot and not in the bullet.
