National Accountability Bureau claimed that it saved public money valuing Rs300 billion.
ISLAMABAD:
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) claimed on Thursday that it saved public money valuing Rs300 billion by scrutinising projects worth Rs1.6 trillion, and removing loopholes in these projects, said NAB acting chairman Rear Admiral (retd) Saeed Ahmad Sargana.
“To enhance its capacity to scrutinise reported loopholes of all the ongoing projects, NAB is now planning to establish anti-corruption committees at district and union council level through new local bodies to involve all segments of society in fight against corruption,” he said, appreciating NAB’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chapter specifically for its efforts in eradicating corruption.
