Passing-Out Parade: COAS lauds Baloch patriotism
The recruitment of 20,000 soldiers from Balochistan into the Pakistani Army shows their love for their country

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has said the recruitment of around 20,000 soldiers from Balochistan into the Pakistan Army since 2010 shows patriotism and love of Baloch people for the country.
COAS Gen Sharif arrived in Quetta to attend the passing-out parade ceremony of 1,800 recruits from Balochistan. “Pakistan’s prosperity is linked to the prosperity of Balochistan,” he said during the passing out parade, adding that Pakistan Army had relaxed its rules for the recruitment of Baloch people to increase participation from the province.
