
Anti Terrorism Judge Nisar Ahmad on Thursday sentenced a man convicted of an acid attack for 34 years in prison. The judge also ordered the convict to pay Rs150,000 fine and Rs1.08 million compensation to the heirs of the deceased.
According to the prosecutor, Irshad Hussain had attacked Jaffar Hussain with acid in May 2010. The victim’s face and chest had burned. An FIR was registered against Irshad with Inayati police under the Anti Terrorism Act.
