Tennis: Fed Cup trials on December 20
The Fed Cup will be played in the first week of February in Astana, Kazakhstan.
KARACHI:
The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) announced that it will hold the women’s trials for the Fed Cup 2014 in Islamabad on December 20.
The federation also named the selection committee for the trials that include Nadir Mumtaz (chairman), Majid Bashir, Inamul Haq, Fazale Subhan, Nouman Aleem, Arif Qureshi, and Shahzad Akhtar Alvi (members) who will pick the best talent from the group to represent Pakistan in the tournament.
The Fed Cup will be played in the first week of February in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Earlier, the federation also named the squad for the Davis Cup 2014; Aisamul Haq Qureshi and Aqeel Khan will be accompanied by Yasir Khan and Muhammad Abid.
