Ailing prisoner: TNSM chief gets medical check-up
The head of TNSM, Maulana Sufi Muhammad, was brought to Lady Reading Hospital for a medical check-up on Thursday.

The head of the defunct Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Shariat-e-Muhammadi (TNSM) Maulana Sufi Muhammad was brought to Lady Reading Hospital for a medical check-up on Thursday.
Sufi was brought in an armoured car under strict security arrangements. After several tests, including an ultrasound in the urology ward, he was shifted back to the Peshawar Central Jail. “He was examined by doctors in the urology ward who prescribed medicines after which he was brought back to the jail,” said a jail official while talking to The Express Tribune.
