Nadra Chief’s Sacking: IHC extends stay order till Dec 13
Islamabad High Court on Wednesday extended the stay order against the sacking of (NADRA) chairman till December 13.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday extended the stay order against the sacking of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) chairman till December 13.
Justice Noorul Haq Qureshi, while hearing a petition over the removal of NADRA chief Tariq Malik extended the stay order after attorneys from both sides agreed to argue on the next date of hearing. During the course of the hearing, advocate Sohaib Shaheen, Zahid Hussain’s counsel, and Akram Sheikh who was representing the federal government, submitted their replies to the court.
However, Sheikh sought time for arguments, following which the court fixed December 13 as the next date of hearing. The Supreme Court had directed IHC to settle the matter within one month.
