Tall claims: Crime in Sindh down by 35%, says CM

Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah insists that crime has declined in Sindh by nearly 35 per cent, as a result of the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi.
He was speaking to the British High Commissioner MR HE Adam Thomson at CM House on Tuesday.
Shah claimed the government has created confidence among the people of Karachi.
The government will not only strengthen Sindh police by providing weapons, vehicles and hire 10,000 more men, but also provide incentives by giving one job, one plot and Rs2 million to the family of each martyred policemen.
“We are considering the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz’s suggestion to exchange most dangerous criminals between the two provinces,” he said.
Meanwhile, Thomson said British companies were interested in making investments in Karachi.
