A trader, Khwaja Rashid, was shot dead by assailants at a grocery shop in Hala Naka on Friday. Following Rashid’s murder, a resident of Aliabad, traders blocked the National Highway in protest. SP Hyder Raza said the motive could not be ascertained. The protesters dispersed after the SP assured them of police’s action.
