We as Pakistani south Africans we feel like we have lost a father. TATA MANDELA. GOD bless u. The greatest man of the centuary. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.
Great Leader of 20th Century the World have ever known is gone but he left behind a legacy of reconciliation,,kindness and true care for humanity. Our Leaders should learn from it. God rest his soul in peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The greatest leader of modern times Nelson Mandela has been a Titan among men. Despite being jailed for more than quarter of a century he did not put even a single opponent in jail. He had no political prisoners after coming into power. Unlike most of the leaders Mr. Mandela did not cling to power and stepped out only after one term in office a lesson for leaders of developing world. It is great joy to see dozens of his grandkids both boys and girls having Mandela as their last names. Mr. Mandela is not just a history but history maker. Eevn his worst opponents and rightwing extremists cannot deny his greatness. May God bless his soul.
Condolences are good. Can Pakistani nation take a same stand against our leaders? & give us freedom from American/Saudia puppets?
@Jamal: I've seen similar comments made by many people...If thats the case,India was doing better under British regime than now...So do u think the leaders were wrong in fighting for independence???
Whats the use of being prosperous if only 10% of them enjoy it while 90% of them live in poverty and injustice??? All I can say that if u were a black living in South Africa you would understand how bad it is...
Remember,Slavery seems good as long as you are the master...
Admirable personality. But what was so "shocking" about his death. The man was old. It is a sorrowful event but definitely not "shocking". RIP Madiba
Whilst Mandela's vision and ideology was brilliant the reality unfortunately is very different. I have both lived in and have friends in SA and they remember well that the day after Apartheid was abolished most black South Africans expected to wake up to a nice house and a car despite never having done a honest days work. They also expected the whites to give up their homes. Today my friends tell me they live in fear of being burgled or killed. They have removed their children from schools preferring to home school rather than deal with scary and violent strikes about money money money. Corruption is rife. Sadly a beautiful country is heading the same way as Zimbabwe.
We are sad, but we also thank God Almighty for having given us such a great man as Nelson Mandela. So sad that God Almighty has taken him away. Indeed Madiba will be missed by the entire world, especially those of us, South Africans, who learned so much from him and continue to enjoy the fruits of his Long Walk To Freedom - DEMOCRACY. May his soul rest in peace.
