Weather on monday: PMD forecasts cold, dry spell

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday forecast cold and dry weather for most parts of the country during next 24 hours. However, partly cloudy conditions in upper parts of Punjab are expected on Monday. According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave is prevailing over Afghanistan and is likely to approach northern parts of the country on Sunday night and Monday. In most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, cold and dry weather has been predicted with upper parts to have very cold temperature. However, mostly cloudy weather conditions with chances of rain, thunderstorm and light snowfall over the hills are expected at isolated places in Malakand and Hazara divisions on Sunday and Monday. Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of Sindh and Balochistan.
