Healthy practice: ACCA, MCC discuss business growth

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Pakistan organised a panel discussion with the Multan Chamber of Commerce (MCC) to discuss various growth opportunities for organisations and businesses in Pakisan. The panel discussed the urge to provide appropriate financial information and assessed the need for business leaders which could be achieved from a formalised finance function. Head of ACCA Pakistan Arif Masud Mirza, Maqbool Textile Mills Ltd Director Bakhtawar Sheikh and other high authorities were amongst the panellists. Mirza said that the organisations needed to develop an adaptable mindset as it was a critical success factor in the fast-changing environment. MCC President Khwaja Muhammad Usman said that the biggest asset for an organisation was quality human resources. He said MCC had joined hands with ACCA as it believed that they could supply the Small and Medium Enterprises, with the talent pool required for growth towards a new and enhanced vision.
