DI Khan jailbreak case: 7 men acquitted
Among them are three members of the banned outfits and four policemen.

The anti-terrorism court (ARC) Dera Ismail Khan has acquitted seven suspects – three members of the banned outfits and four policemen – in the DI Khan jailbreak case. ATC judge Khawaja Wajihudin announced the verdict on Tuesday. On July 29, the members of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan broke into the DI Khan central prison and freed 250 inmates including some high-profile militants. The Punjabi Taliban commander, Mujahid Ahmad alias Faqir Baba, was later arrested from a hospital in DI Khan on August 5.
