Losing control: Two killed, nine injured in road accident

Two of the injured, who were in critical condition, were taken to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.

Two people were killed while nine others were injured as two cars collided in Risalpur, Nowshera on Saturday night.


Taj Muhammad Khan, an official of the Risalpur police said a car was enroute Mardan from Nowshera, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a car going in the opposite direction. He added  11 people were injured in the accident and were taken to Mardan Medical Complex and District Headquarters Hospital Nowshera.



The driver of the car was identified as Aurangzeb and an 11-year-old boy identified as Abu Bakar succumbed to their injuries.

Two of the injured, who were in critical condition, were taken to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar. The police have taken both vehicles into custody and filed a case.
