As many as 275 government school teachers have been issued show-cause notices to explain their long absence.

As many as 275 government school teachers have been issued show-cause notices to explain their long absence. The teachers must explain why they failed to show up at work for nearly two months to avoid dismissal. On Friday, Hyderabad divisional commissioner Jamal Mustafa Syed directed the deputy commissioners of all districts in Hyderabad division to take action without delay. Sixty teachers in Jamshoro, 58 in Tando Muhammad Khan, 48 in Tando Allahyar, 37 in Dadu, 25 in Matiari, 24 in Hyderabad, 18 in Benazirabad and five in Badin have been served notices.
