Crime against women: Report sought in acid attack case

The Lahore High Court on Saturday took notice of an acid attack case and directed the Toba Tek Singh district and sessions judge to probe the matter and submit a detailed report in this regard. According to press reports, Ilyas Mahmood, resident of Chishtia had thrown acid at a girl. He was allegedly paid by Muhammad Anwar of Shorkot to attack the girl over a property dispute with her father.
