Style Icon: Actor Jennifer Lawrence
She has set the red carpet ablaze with every appearance.
Jennifer Lawrence made seven photo calls and red carpet appearances for her new movie ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ last week, looking ah-may-zing (and totally different!) at each one.
She may play ‘The Girl on Fire’ Katniss Everdeen in the latest instalment of the blockbuster franchise, but her character isn’t the only thing that’s hot right now. She has set the red carpet ablaze with every appearance, and we’re more than a little envious of all the Dior that must be cluttering up her closets these days.
While she looked consistently fabulous on this latest promo tour, we are particularly partial to the double-breasted Dior trench dress from the brand’s Resort 2014 Collection that she wore to the Berlin premiere. With her hair swept off her forehead and her feet in delicate strappy sandals, she wowed from head-to-toe. Her look for the Madrid premiere was also a winner. In a strapless navy gown from the Dior 2014 Resort collection and windswept hair, she looked edgy yet glamorous. She proved that she doesn’t just look fabulous in couture gowns when she ditched Dior for a black and tan Proenza Schouler dress and studded Saint Laurent pumps for the Rome photo call. We’d give her another Oscar if we could, for her innate ability to look effortlessly beautiful in whatever she wears. She has proved that her new do is versatile, that one absolutely can’t go wrong with Dior, and that her sense of style is definitely on fire. Jennifer, you can represent our District any day.
