Energy found: Oil and gas reserves found in K-P
Asad Qasier said that oil and gas reserves have been found at nine more locations near the Karak district of K-P.

Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) provincial assembly Asad Qasier said that oil and gas reserves have been found at nine more locations near the Karak district of K-P. Presiding over a high level meeting at the Assembly Secretariat, he said that a huge quantity of oil and gas reserves have been found during explorations and drilling. Qasier added that if utilised properly and with comprehensive plans, the K-P province in would gain several benefits of this natural resource. He said that the K-P government is preparing a comprehensive plan to utilise the oil and gas resources in a way that could benefit the people of the province. He added that the government was planning on setting up industrial estates, education cities and other projects alongside the Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway.
