Policemen get bail in murder case
SI Nasir Ahmed and ASI Naseer Ahmed were arrested a few months back for killing Abdul Sattar, a drug peddler.

Two police officials, accused of killing an alleged drug peddler in custody in 1999, were granted bail against a solvent surety of Rs100,000 each by Additional District and Sessions Judge (South) Abdul Razzak.
ASI Nasir Ahmed and ASI Naseer Ahmed were arrested a few months back for killing Abdul Sattar, the drug peddler. They were posted at Kalakot police station and were alleged to have taken into custody Sattar who was later found dead in jail.
His body bore torture marks after which his mother Dur Bibi lodged an FIR at the same police station.
On Saturday, the additional district and sessions judge admitted them to bail on grounds of consistency.
