Inferno: Four houses gutted, livestock burnt alive

Four houses were destroyed while livestock worth hundreds of thousands of rupees was burnt to death when a fire broke out in a remote village in the Galiyat area, said the police on Thursday.
Munawar Khan of Mohar Kalan village told the Bagnotar police he left his ranch on Wednesday evening when the fire started. The ranch and four neighbouring houses were completely engulfed and turned to ashes.
He told the police he tried to put the fire out with help from other villagers but the attempt was unsuccessful.

Munawar expects compensation for his lost valuables and livestock from the government.
