Waseem Khatri won the last Pakistan Scrabble Association (PSA) ranking tournament of the year with 13 wins at the BVS Parsi School yesterday.
National champion Khatri won 13 games out of a total 18 in the two-day tournament. However, he faced close competition from Mohammad Inayatullah till the last match. Inayatullah also won 13 games and secured the second position, while Moizullah Baig finished third among the seasoned players with 12 wins.
PSA will send the junior squad for the World Youth Scrabble Championship in Dubai and senior squad to World Scrabble Championship in Prague.
