Positions vacated: K-P governor accepts QWP minister’s resignation
Khattak also issues notices for the removal of parliamentary secretaries belonging to QWP.
PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Governor Shaukatullah Khan accepted the resignation of Qaumi Watan Party Senior Minister Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao and removed two other ministers, Bakht Baidar and Ibrar Hussain Tanoli, from their offices on the recommendation of Chief Minister (CM) Pervez Khattak.
Both the ministers belong to Qaumi Watan Party while Sikandar is the party’s provincial president.
A notification issued from the cabinet wing of K-P Administration Department stated the resignation was considered to be accepted on November 16 while both the ministers were removed from their position on the same date.
Meanwhile, Khattak issued notices for the removal of parliamentary secretaries belonging to QWP, Anisa Zeb Tahirkheli, Miraj Hamayoon Khan, Sultan Muhammad and Special Assistant to CM on Technical Education Abdul Karim from their offices.
