Two girls ‘raped’, suspects at large

FAISALABAD:
Two girls were allegedly raped in Faisalabad between Saturday and Sunday.
A police spokesman said that Sadia*, a housemaid at Saima Bibi’s house in Mohallah Ghaziabad, was raped allegedly by Sabir*, Saima’s brother, and his two accomplices. The spokesman said a case had been registered on Saima’s complaint.
Muhammad Aamir, a relative of Sabir, said Sabir and Saima had an ongoing property dispute. He accused Saima of implicating his brother in a false case.
The Batala Station House Officer said police were waiting for the medico-legal examination report. He said the accused were at large.
In a separate incident, a girl was raped in Chak 582-GB, Ludhianwala, on Saturday.
Dil Nawaz*, the girl’s cousin, said Khadeeja* was raped by Waseem* after he broke into her house.
The Ludhianwala SHO said a case had been registered. He said police were waiting for the medico-legal examination report.
He said a police team had been constituted to arrest the accused.
