Drastic Measures: JPMC cancels workers’ leaves

Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre administration has cancelled the leaves of its employees to cope with any emergency on Muharram 10, according to joint director and emergency ward in-charge Dr Seemin Jamali. All doctors and staff in the emergency department will be present round-the-clock while operation theatres will remain open, she added. Security has been beefed up by establishing an additional police post. Sindh health secretary Jam Inamullah Dharejo also ordered all government hospitals to ensure availability of all essential medicine.
