‘This is my seat’: Passengers fight over double booking
Chaos spread as 100 passengers argued with one another over the seats.

As many as 200 train passengers fought amongst each other on Tuesday over double booking of 100 seats. They were stopped when Railway Police intervened and allowed both parties to travel. The train was delayed by an hour. Police said a religious organisation had booked 100 seats in the Allama Iqbal Express, but the Khanewal railways management had also booked those seats for other passengers. Chaos spread as 100 passengers argued with one another over the seats. They stopped when all of them were allowed to travel in the train. The passengers who had booked the seats later were adjusted in another bogey.
