Tragedy: Boy drowns in water tank
A three-year-old boy drowned in an underground water tank at his house in Mohalla Raja Sultan.

A three-year-old boy drowned in an underground water tank at his house in Mohalla Raja Sultan on Monday. Ali Haider went missing from his house on Monday morning and despite an extensive search by his family members, he could not be recovered, said a police official. When Haider’s parents checked the water tank in the evening, they found his body floating. Meanwhile, Islamuddin lodged a report with the same police that auto-thieves stole his rickshaw (RIU-551) from outside a shop at Asghar Mall Road.
