Juvenile: 10-year-old charged with murder

MULTAN:

A 10-year-old boy was arrested on Monday in Shujabad on murder charge.

Police said Ganwaeen village resident Haji Allahdad Dogar’s daughter had married Muhammad Zubair of her free will. They said he and his son, Muhammad Shahid, had been threatening to kill Zubair.

However, on October 7, they said, Shahid was found killed in his house.

His father had registered an FIR with Saddar police against three children - Habib and his cousins Muhammad Zawar, 10, and Abdul Aziz, 11. The complainant alleged that Zubair had helped the three children kill Shahid.

SHO Ibrar Gujjar said Habib was arrested from his house. He said the rest of the suspects were at large. He said police had obtained his four-day remand.

He said investigations were underway. He said the boy had denied the allegation. He said his family said their son had been falsely implicated.
