Objections To Be Addressed: Delimitation hearings comes to an end
In district Central, 131 complaints were received from the representatives of both political parties.

On the last day of hearing of delimitations of city municipalities, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) both expressed their satisfaction over the delimitation of district Central.
On Saturday, Karachi Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui concluded the process of hearings. During the one-week hearing, 368 complaints were submitted from district East, 385 from district West, 141 from district South and 60 from district Malir.
In district Central, 131 complaints were received from the representatives of both political parties.
The objections over delimitation of district Central were also heard on Friday evening as both complainants could not reach a consensus during the lengthy meeting. After settling the objections within an hour on Saturday, the commissioner said that the recommendations would be submitted to the local bodies ministries by Monday. “We’ve noted all the complaints and will send them to the local government secretary who will forward it to the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah,” said Siddiqui while talking to The Express Tribune. “The local government secretary will resolve the objections with consensus of all political parties and other complainants. All decisions have been made according to the law.”
PPP’s leader Najmi Alam was among the party members who attended the meeting with the commissioner, along with MQM’s MPA Khawaja Izharul Hassan, MPA Rehan Zafar, MPA Khalid Bin Wilayat, MPA Iftikhar Alam and the party’s election cell in-charge Azam Surty.
