ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has directed Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak to start investigation into allegations of corruption against his cabinet members.

In his official statement, the PTI chairman noted that it had come to his attention that some provincial ministers were indulging in corruption.

“Imran Khan has demanded the chief minister to immediately investigate and take action against these ministers,” he added.

Imran reminded that the PTI was given an electoral mandate on two main commitments: peace and stamping out corruption, and there can be absolutely no compromise on these two commitments.

He insisted that the PTI would not tolerate corruption at any level but would act immediately to punish the guilty.
