A fire erupted in the record room of Maryam Memorial Hospital on Peshawar Road on Thursday evening. Rescue 1122 officials said the cause of the fire was probably due to an electric short circuit.
He lauded the efforts of Rescue 1122 officials who, he said, reached the spot within minutes of being informed and successfully controlled the blaze.

A fire erupted in the record room of Maryam Memorial Hospital on Peshawar Road on Thursday evening. Rescue 1122 officials said the cause of the fire was probably due to an electric short circuit.
The fire was extinguished before it could spread further and cause damage to patients and doctors, said a hospital official. The hospital’s owner, Dr Shumail Dawood, said no one was injured in the incident.
He lauded the efforts of Rescue 1122 officials who, he said, reached the spot within minutes of being informed and successfully controlled the blaze.
