Improved living: Clifton’s basic necessities discussed

During the meeting, street lighting, cleanliness, water supply and food hygiene were discussed.

KARACHI: The living conditions of Clifton were discussed in a meeting between Association of Defence Resident’s Atiqur Rehman and Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) president Brig. Farrukh Waseem Khan. During the meeting, street lighting, cleanliness, water supply and food hygiene were discussed. Speaking on the water supply issue, Khan said that the residents face shortage of water due to the insufficient amount of water supplied by Karachi Water and Sewerage Board. Khan promised improved lighting and sanitation on the roads of Clifton, while instructing CBC food inspector to check the food being sold in all hotels and restaurants.
