ASWJ stages sit-in against killings of its members, supporters in Karachi
Party threatens to stage sit-ins at Governor House, Chief Minister House if culprits are not arrested.

Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) staged a sit-in at Regal Chowk in Karachi against targeted killings of its party members and supporters, Express News reported on Wednesday.
The rally started from Lasbela and ended at Regal Chowk where ASWJ activists staged a sit-in while party leaders made speeches calling for the arrest of those involved in the killings.
The party leaders said they would stage sit-ins at the Governor House and the Chief Minister House if their demands are not met.
On Tuesday, three ASWJ activists, Mufti Tariq, Mohammad Jan and Raza Gul, and three supporters, Ayaz, Yar Mohammad and Ramzan, were shot down in Karachi in separate incidents.
Deceased Mufti Tariq was a religious scholar, while Mohammad Jan was the Moazzin at the Muqaddas Masjid near Kala Pul. Raza Gul was a senior activist of the ASWJ.
Karachi Police Chief Shahid Hayat had said that those who carried out the targeted attacks were identified and would be arrested.
